it's less than one month to appassionata XI about one more month till passing down. jasmine just showed me something sabrina wrote. which made me very emotional. i remembered the times when jasmine used to say "im leaving soon" and i would tell myself "there's still a long way to go before that" and live in self-denial. now it's a month to go, and i realised, it'll really not be the same without her. being the one and ONLY senior in my section, being the first ever bassist in NYCB, being the sole person in band whom i really fully depended on, i cant say she hasnt made a difference in my band life. 因为有今天的她，才会有今天的我。 (: 是因为她，我才会变得这样疯，这样大方`开朗。也是因为她我才会开开心心地过得了这几年。(: cause really, juggling between school and band has been tough, and without her and her madness, i would already have died. it was her who taught me to be environmental friendly (quote: dont anyhow take plastic bags from the supermarkets when you dont need them! and dont anyhow throw them away!) and how to take my own initiative to do stuffs (quote: clear your own tray after eating at macs!) and to be polite and have good manners (quote: DA JIA CHI. (: HAHA. ) . cause seriously, i dont remember learn all of that from my family. :/ but looking back, i dont remember treating her like a real senior. i've always treated her like my own batchmate, my very best friend, my big sister. after all the things we've been through, i guess she's more than a senior to me. (: and when she's gone, though we have no photos for us to look back on, (cause amazingly that girl is camera shy!) we still have the band songs, and the moments we shared during band pracs. the times when we ran around the backstage of VCH before appassionata X like mad people. the times when we shaked our way through gelato con caffe during appassionata X on the VCH stage the times when we seem to be the only people helping percussion to carry instruments around during concerts. the times when we acted so childishly and we started to hit each other's head. the times when we accidentally walked on stage at the wrong time to get percussion instruments during nanyang glitters. the times when we talked damn loudly during band pracs, and then look at everybody else like nothing happened. the times when we walked together from school to bass lessons and we kept suaning each other like there's no tmr. the times when i fell and THAT EVIL POKE LAUGHED AT ME. ): the times when we laughed our hearts out and laughed like nobody's business at nothing at all. the times when we acted dumb and started to do dumb things during band prac. the times when you gave me an empty letter and i used the same letter to write back. the times when we were down and we ended up crying in each other's arms. the times during SYF when we only had each other to hug. the times during sectionals when we practiced till we could make it. though these are not concrete stuff which one can hold onto and keep, some things are just best kept at heart. and YES. though it sounds cheesy, I WILL MISS YOU JASMINE TAN ): band will never seem the same without you. ich liebe Tom! 12:46 AM |
