did you know: 4 million people fit into the tiny sunny island of SINGAPORE. AND 4 million people fit into both the north and the south islands of new zealand. new zealand: 4 million people 40 MILLION SHEEPS. well plus a few millions of cows, and horses, and pigs, and chickens, and ducks... and not forgetting the mountain loads of hills and greenery they have here. I BET TELETUBIES WAS FLIMED IN NEW ZEALAND I TELL YOU. :D the past two weeks have been filled with wonderful sceneries and friendly people and what not. I FEEL LIKE IM LIVING IN A FAIRYTALE! :D it's so beautiful down here AND I DONT WANT TO GO BACK. YET. im actually homesick. D: I REAALLY REALLY REALLY MISS CHINESE. WHICH IS TYPICALLY THE LAST THING WHICH I CAN MISS ON EARTH. D: but on the other hand it's so nice living here! :D basically we went kayaking around oreintal bay last sunday, and then headed over to lindale which was up in the mountains. fed the animals and stuff. and a sheep kicked gemma over! haha. and a deer ate up elise's paper bag, and their dad was like -covers his face- "omg walk away!" haha. OH AND ELISE CAN TALK TURKEY. she was like mimicking this turkey and then the turkey answers her, and then she "gobbles" again and the turkey answers back! HAHA. and then we went to wellington's cuba street and oriental bay with anisha, arahia, sam, melissa, and gemma last saturday. got souvenirs and stuff. :D and i got something for LIUYI WHICH I HOPE SHE WILL LIKE VERY MUCH :/ im not too sure. the people in school are really nice and fun. it's wayyyy much more relaxed here. and i already feel like part of the class. there's always funky anisha and her stupid JIMI BLUE THING, and elizabeth who's WAYYY TOO MUCH OPEN OMG. haha. and sarah and rhianone in music and french, and DANI!! the ENGLISH girl haha and KAREN and charlotte! :D haha. im going to miss them when im gone D: below are randow intrusions by PEOPLE from the class! :D : karen is sitting next to me she is like so cool.. cooler than this person --->. i met this really cool person called janelle =D But morgan falloon is even cooler than all the rest and WAY cooler than mehr vather shes gangster. but Mehr Vather is so much cooler than morgan and janelle and karen and she is so much more gangster because she is so cool and everyone worships her because she is the best... EVER KEEP DREAMING MEHR shes more like a NIGHTMEHR [From Janelle] I DONT NEED TO DREAM JANELLE.... i ROCK hello friends of siew ying this is staci :D *cheesy smile* forget what the top people said.. karen is much cooler ok.. BYE haha okayy. oh we went to this PAUA world thing today to get more souvenirs, and then to mount bruce to see BIRDS. we saw this CUTE TAKAHE AND KIWIIIIIII! :D so cute! and we saw this kaka which was following elise around like a dog so now elise has a KAKA as a DOG. haha. and then we went over to the southernmost point of the north island of new zealand, and we saw heaps and heaps and TRUCKLOADS AND TRUCKLOADS OF SHEEP. and everytime we saw sheep we just went "SHEEEP! AHH COWWWW. OH LOOK HORSE!" like deprived kids. HAHA. and elise was mimicking sheep like "MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" on the car and the sheeps turned to look at her. -.- weirddd! and then we reached this part where the SHEEP WERE CROSSING THE ROAD and elise was like "barking" at them to get out of the way haha. AND THERE WERE SHEEP ON THE BEACH. like wth?!!? haha! and then we reached the lighthouse and had to climb like 250 STEPS ALL THE WAY UP. killer okay. OHH AND WE SAW SEALS ON THE BEACH! haha. oh man they were so cute! they were like swimming in the sea and rolling around on the rocks and playing with each other. and we were very close to this seal like 5 meters away, WITHOUT A FENCE OKAY. scary. and gemma's dad was like trying to get to it and gemma's mum was like "jim, get away from the seal IT'S MAKING NOISES!!!!!~~~~~~" haha! and gemma and elise were like mimicking her! haha. elise has gone to a sleepover at her friend's birthday party. and tmr we'll probably be going back down to wellington to cross the harbour on a ferry, and to go up to the botanical gardens by the cable car and have a pinic, and listen to their national air force band perform! :D and monday I SERIOUSLY HOPE TO GO TO THEIR GAMELAN PRACTICE THAT WOULD BE SO COOL. :D pictures when i get back to singapore. cause stupid nokia N73 doesnt connect to the com through USB drive. i have to download the freaking PC suite. it's 11.11 p.m. here in new zealand now. i gtg to bed. night. ich liebe Tom! 5:39 PM Thursday, November 15, 2007
HEYYYY. :D im in chilton st james girls school's library now. the school not as big as nanyang, not as high either. there's only 2 levels, but the cosy atmosphere in the classrooms and the many buildings make up for it. :D the hills and mountains contribute greatly to the nice scenery here. but IM MISSING THE HEAT. D: it's like 12-24 degrees here. and we only arrived here the day before. and the weather's pretty bad lately. there's lots of rain here, and the weather forecast predicted HAIL. D: we're so freezing to death. but it cant be as bad as christchurch here. though wellington's like the windiest place in new zealand, and it sure is very very VERY windy, there's SNOW in christchurch, which is down south by the way, and i wonder how stephanie and kaiyun are doing. :/ im missing CHINESE and CHILLI too! haha. it's pretty amusing when we (the exchange students from nanyang to chilton) speak in english during classes and everyone goes "WOW. your english is REALLY GOOD." -.- haha. cause they like think our english pretty much sucks since we're like "yellow-skinned". D: and the food not that bad, but it's all really really healthy food. like vegetables, and fruits and lots and LOTS of salad. and ya BREAD. there's hardly rice and meat. :/ and lots of biscuits like shortbread and stuff. :/ and the food's normally plain. cause of the salads and stuff. so I MISS CHILLI. D: haha. weird. the people's really nice here. they're all really friendly and they do really crazy things like prankcalls on _____ and stuff. and they're like really really open here. O.O kinda scary seeing the things that they do. THE SCHOOL'S REALLY SLACK. there's like not much work even though exams are coming for them. and when we announced that we actually brought our own homework there they're like "isnt it your holiday!?" and we said ya and they went "you guys have HOMEWORK during your HOLIDAY?!" classes are pretty much different. the girls sort of like talk much more here. and they like throw and shout across the classroom when they need something from another person. and the teachers dont actually do much teaching. it's more of like doing worksheets and marking them during class. which is pretty weird. french lessons (which is the lesson that im supposed to be having now.) are weirder. cause their french isnt exactly the basic, it's really advanced. and we (sam and i) have to get melissa to translate the french they spoke for us. they're like learning how to read a french menu and order dishes and stuff. haha. and maths is quite okay. it's like simple trigo. science is on reproduction, and the class usually goes crazy in that lesson. -.- music is kinda fun. they have mac which has this programme called garage band, and you can like compose pop songs with it. which is SO COOL. ok fine i think the HMP students do it too but have never done it. :/ so. and GEMMA PLAYS THE BASS GUITAR! (YAY!) I CAN LIKE LEARN FROM HER HAHA. i tried playing it yesterday, and it's not that bad. the fingerinfgs are the same, and i just need to know how to hold the bass properly and pluck it. :/ and the strings arent even thicker than the double bass, which gives less problems. :D and the drumset is really cool! it's not a complete one though. :/ but it's all sparkly and loud. :D okay this is going nowhere. :/ okay it's social studies now. the girls are like making stuff for their enterprise week. and i got to go. :D ich liebe Tom! 9:03 AM Monday, November 12, 2007
short post: went swimming FINALLY on friday. :D went shopping for new zealand on saturday and went for library duty for nyaa at jurong library yesterday. stupid dodo PANGSEHED ME YET AGAIN. D: and i changed my handphone number. should have smsed to inform you guys. okayyy 5 more days to new zealand. have been packing since school ended and i realised that if im doing alot of shopping there, i wont be able to BRING IT HOME. D: howw! D: rahhhh. and i need a new wallet. D: kexin and mian jun are the first few to wish me happy birthday! :D kexin with CHIP and mian jun with her hand sewn double bass haha! so cute! and thankyou so much! :D i desperately need to cute my hair. the problem is: i dont know whether to cute my fringe or not! D: cause i kinda liked rainie's OLD haristyle (sorry but her new one is wayyyy toooo bold. :/ ) but im kinda scared that it'll screw up real big and end up a mess. D: this post is really pointless. -.- and i need to pass yihui her ANGBAO before i fly!!! :D and i realised that you actually still care and remember. which kinda surprises me cause we've never talked since last year. which still kinda scares me.
