it's currently 1.47 in the morning and im currently being freaked out by jasmine tan's very professional essay. (haha. j.k.) funny how half the things she told me, werent said by irene tan before. like seriously. irene tan focuses on the structure of the essay and on opinions and evidences too much that, i dont know, the whole essay is a factual essay. when i asked how to improve on my essay, (since i had to freaking redo it.), she said "put in more opinions." end of story. like erm, thanks. that helped. alot. but RAHH WTH. i feel so sucky now. i suck at L.A. D: and especially since it's like an expository essay. suddenly i like writing chinese compos more. the issues discussed are closer to the heart. on the other hand, the first week of school has passed, it's the first day of the second week already. blocks are in 3 weeks time, so is bass exam, and im absolutely not prepared. this is frightening me. especially since i've forgotten everything on differentiation, integration, and i have math and bass on the same day. and bass is equally horrendous. i havent started scales, and i cant play the other 4 pieces properly. other academic based subjects, e.g. chem, bio, music and geog, which im usually confident of, aint helping either. especially music and geog, since i have no idea about opera and symphony, and geog isnt actually getting into my mind. D: im going to have to suffer dealing with L.A. tmr. D: I CANT THINK NOW. (which accounts for the above rambling) AND i have chinese tuition tmr! HOW WONDERFUL. actually i've got lots to blog about, but im too busy getting worried over my homework and blocks to bother. raahhh. okay. just wanted to do a quick shoutout to mianjun, (though i highly doubt she ever comes here.) HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIANJUN! :D now that you're fantastically fourteen, i wish you "快点长高!" haha! so that you might hopefully be able to complete grade 8 bass by the end of your sec 4 year and not end up like me. D; okay i edited the sidebar a little. please bear with the links, im still not finished with them . today started out fine. except for the fact that i was late for no reason for band D: , and that i had to run 3 rounds, band was fun! i guess the band sounded better after japan, and it was hilarious. during 演歌，tianhui, jo and jingyi made the sec 1s do the dance for it, and the sec 1s were so embarassed, they started doing weird actions and acting like robots. the actions were really funny and weird, and LAME i must say, coming from someone like tianhui. haha. and the 3 of them had a very hard time teaching the sec 1s how to dance cause they couldnt losen up. mianjun and i were zi-highing as usual. mianjun even invented her own version of the dance and the both of us were dancing till we burst out laughing like idiots. haha. even chong was making fun of everything. haha. then after band we went for bass lessons, where my disaster struck, and then band outing. must thank all sec 3s for organising the band outing at pandan valley condo, and for supplying us with the great food! :D --- i hate it. i hate to think that, after 3 years and counting, they've never given me any support at all. which sadly is the truth, as i've come to realise today. how naive can i get. she hates it. she hates it to the core. she's never given a single compliment about it for the past 3 years. 3. YEARS. when it's been my life since then til today. how naive was i to think that she would support me, to be proud of it? she never did and never will. i feel feaking screwed. i feel devastated. i just found out today that our bass exam's on 24th july, during my blocks. i have math and chem and bass all in one day. and it's smacked in the middle between band fiesta and limelight. i dont think i can handle it. not when we BOTH havent gotten an accompaniment, and i absolutely suck at 3 out of the 4 pieces, plus scales, which are clearly untouched. i told her about it and she flared up. i think if i had told her about MATH and CHEM being on the same day, i'll just get killed. and she wonders why i dont get a distinction for this simple exam. --- i love this: "the world i know" by collective soul. the orchestra on set is huge! and it's really really nice. it's kinda old, but it sort of reflects whatever i feel now. whatever i should really be reflecting about. what's life anyway? --- tokio hotel tv's episode 31 is out. it's freaking hilarious. tom and georg are LOVE. :D i feel too tired to do anything now. D: emotionally drained. i guess i just have to think of how to deal with bass, and deal with the consequences of procrastination tmr. @#$^%! warning: tokio hotel post :D it seems that their very recent concert in dortmund, germany was very sucessful. :D the guys started off the 2nd part of their 1000 hotels tour around europe with their only german concert in dortmund on friday the 13th, (they had stopped the tour earlier in the year due to bill's operation. D:) and it was amazing. and i must, the arena was WOW. :D taken from loveth-music.4fans.net
sorry, pardon the bad translation and english :/ other highlights of the show include bill introducing his gastmusiker, georg being bullied by bill again, bill giving georg a mickey mouse plushie. :D In die Nacht (encore) and bill introducing his gastmusiker. apparently at the earlier part of the video, bill picks up a thong from the stage floor and hangs it up on his mic stand. o.O and then you can see all the fans throwing loads of stuff at them. :/ and nearing the end bill introduces the whole band again as georg and gustav joins them to perform "Rette mich" he says something like "Here we have GUSTAV!" -points to gustav and the crowd starts cheering- "and here we have MORRITZ HAGEN! (georg surname)" -cheers- "tom..." haha. "and your favourite tonight: BILL!" haha! cute! :D he was like dissing tom by introducing his brother in this "just another normal guy." kind of voice and tom was unsatisfied so he was like playing this melody on the guitar. haha! and then bill gave georg the mickey mouse plushie which he picked up from the stage. when georg looked at him in this weird/accusing way haha! :D oh, and gustav's drum solo was LOVE. really, he should be given more credit then he's been given. after that show in dortmund, they've headed for nijmegen, netherlands to perform the very next day and the open air concert seems to have been fantastic. their now on their way to paris, france to continue their tour. :D oh and they've done this msn concert thingy on 4th june, it's up on msn. which can be found here. der show war GEIL. it's really cool, all the songs are in english since their in las vegas, plus they've got "black" and "raise your hands". bill voice in "black" was absolutely beautiful. :D Labels: tokio hotel ich liebe Tom! 9:37 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2008
HOLIDAY HOMEWORK:
♥- important! i - all halfway done D: well apparently i havent been doing ANYTHING at all this holiday. D: im so sick of the stupid chinese 小说，cause apparently i've been writing and re-writing it for the second time already, cause she said my first draft didnt really have 亲情 inside, and the second didnt logically make sense, and it wasnt 感人 enough. -.- and she said to use stuff which really happened, which you experienced, which was EXACTLY what i did, WHICH DIDNT SEEM TO TURN OUT WELL. conclusion: i cant write 小说，cause apparently everything REAL that i use for an inspiration for the story, didnt turn out to logically make sense, and the last time i wrote something really 感人 was actually all made up. (okay, well almost. i cant really write anything made up well, it all turns out really drama and fake.) 散文s are much easier to write. D: i need to finish the composing and the piano accompaniment tonight. and also all the stupid chinese o level papers, but apparently the composing's screwed up, cause my mum listened to it and she was all "that's it? that's just it? so short?" so i have to redo the whole thing again. ladeedum. screw the piano accompaniment one. what we've given was so short and it's from dussek's sonatina, which scores can be found on the net. -.- like ?!?! and it's a sonatina! so im going to use simple alberti bass, which has ZERO pianistic style, so im SOOO going to score. D: im going to fail that assignment. D: and the OPERA. rahhh! i dont even DARE to watch it! it's so freaking scandalous, with all the scandalous scenes and SCARY SCENES. D: oh my. i really have to do the written tasks, R & R (oh horror) , SRQ corrections (now, WHERE IS MY SRQ?!) , free-pick (another horror), symphony write up, and math portfolio. heck all the other overdue assignments already. D: and i dont even know wth happened to our IH seminar. like hello? does anybody even care? and i havent started studying for blocks. im so going to flung it all this time. RAHHHHHH. freaking screwed! D: and we're going to the science center and the night safari tmr! (today, actually. look at the time!) went science center today. (or rather, yesterday. :/) anyway, jasmine introduced me to "how 6 songs collide". a remix done by norwegian recycling. which can be found here. featuring songs like "collide" by howdie day, "here without you" by 3 doors down and "superman" by five for fighting, i think it's really cool! and it's definitely something nice and sentimental to listen to. :D i guess they've done other songs. i found some other remixes by them like "8 become 1" and stuff. :D and i'm finally done with my playlist. D: but the band was quite okay. for once georg's bass sounded really loud cause tom couldnt be heard at all. -.- and the crowd was good. there's wasnt much screaming during the performance, which was a very good sign for listeners. :D maybe they didnt do a soundcheck before the show, cause D: the sound that day was really really sucky. still, their first time in lisbon, portugal! :D hope their next show in madrid for rock in rio turns out better. rahh im such a great big procastinator. "by your side", which definitely is one of the best videos, and finally super comet. :D tom and gustav are being damn hilarious at the start saying "comet comet comet...", and tom's being his usual ego self with his "best guitarist" thing thing. haha! :D my god. nominated for 3 categories and won 4 comets. should have been their best night ever. and them flying back to germany from their US tour just for this should have been very worth it. oh oh in another video showing the whole comet awards ceremony, the host of comet awards was like kowtow-ing on the red carpet next to them when they announced that tokio hotel won the super comet award. :D haha! an deiner seite (ich bin da)- tokio hotel. official video. meaning "(im here) by your side." with footage from the zimmer 483 documentray and live dvd. :D written by bill for his fans, who were always there for him. :D on the other hand, i thought this by jimi blue was quite well done. all alone by jimi blue. :D filmed in new york though. i thought the song was quite nice and jimi blue was not that bad (after watching his "i'm loving (l.r.h.p.)" which was damn hilarious) and his english was actually good! :D i mean, considering he's german, he's 17, and comparing it with tom's, whose english has a very thick german accent. :/ but then i saw his live performance at the comet awards 2008. o.O jimi blue ochsenknecht singing "hey jimi" featuring his brother, wilson gonzalez ochsenknecht's "new york city." awww okay. i didnt really like that. D: and wilson, who's 18, isnt really that good. :/ naaahh okay, i dont like wilson. :/ besides, the whole thing sounded like playback. it didnt seem live. oh you see that comet host who's dancing in the mist of all the girls?! haha! he's the same host who did the kowtow thingy to tokio hotel! haha! but oh wells. jimi blue seems cute in this. :D Sommer (the film). featuring jimi blue. i wanna watch it! but rahhh it's in german! and it doesnt have any subtitles at all. wait no. they didnt even upload the film onto youtube. D: well just for leisure, this is freaking hilarious. from "whose line is it anyway?- sound effects" by ryan and collin. doing a cops scene. and the old ladies whom drew carey chose from the crowd were supposed to do the sound effects for them. oh my god. it's damn hilarious. especially the part where ryan was like "here's what we're going to do, okay? let's get this straight. you are going to kick at the door, VERY LOUDLY." haha. it's like he's literally telling the ladies what sound effects to make! and then collin said he'll do the elephant when the sound effects came out as "quack quack". and the ending was really funny. :D on a more serious note, im less than 1/3 way through my holiday homework. im so freaking screwed.
