i hate this feeling. "do you remember that adrian was born in this hospital?" it's funny what senile dementia does to my grandma. she can remember that her very first grandson was born in the hospital that she just got admitted in, yet she cant remember the stuffs that we told her just minutes ago. which goes to show how important some things are, and what really matters to her. it's depressing to see how she went from being wheelchair bound, to having to lie in bed all day, unable to go out anymore. just because of a single wound infection on her back made her unable to sit up. so she's lying all day in bed, in an empty house which was once bustling with 11 children running around the house. one that's filled with memories, yet no one remembers. we've found some old pictures, some japanese money, retro clothes, and some other weird stuffs while ransacking and packing the house yesterday. everything's just depressing and demoralising for us to see. & she moans about how all her sons have left her. & i guess it's due to senile dementia that she's acting like a kid again. she fears being alone, and she's afraid of the dark. i fear what more that illness will do to her. to me, she my grandma. to her, i might just be another stranger.
