band pracs on wed and thurs was surprisingly quite, interesting hahah :D wednesday was such a fruitful experience i believe! haha after our session with the thai guy (HAHA WHO'S SO FUNNY HAHA) i realised there was so much of hymn that i didn't know about! so the beginning goes like this: you can just imagine it! the marimba and flutes come in, it's like the first ray of sunlight appearing. it's such a pure light and so enthralling and it slowly shimmers into this scene where you start seeing the dew drops on the grass (that's what i think the piano sounds like to me HAHA) or maybe a river flowing and a leaf floating on it or something! hahah and slowly you see how the trees and flowers and grass are awaking to the sun's light. and then the brasses come in and it's the gentle awakening of the different creatures. suddenly your bird's eye view of this scene speeds up and (CYMBALS CRASH!) into C we go! which is where the sun's rays get stronger and brighter and that's when the horns come in! :D

okay i don't really know about the middle part but haha i like the africa part HAHAH which is part G. and then as the horns play the melody, it's like catching a glimpse of the wildlife as you tour around in the jeep! like the trumpets trombones sudden outbursts haha :D and the baseline! HAHA LIKE BEARS LIKE THAT LOL but i don't really know the correct image here haha ><

and then the whole climax rises up and up and up into N as though a giant columbus cloud was building up! and then suddenly BOOOOOMMM goes the beat before N as though CRACK the first sign of a thunderstorm - THUNDER. and then goes the clarinets and other woodwinds trills here and there symbolising strong winds. and it rains and then suddenly it seems like the sky is once again clearing up and there's this fierce battle with the clouds and the sun which is at P there or something! or heavy rains and it rains so heavily at the suspension chord there and then finally the rain clouds clear and the sun conquers the clouds! so once again, it starts from the beginning-like, where rays of light shine again, played by the flutes.

and it's such a wonderful sight that people start praising! and here we enter the singing part, which OH MYY totally makes my skin goosebumps because it's just so surreal :D i like how recordings sing because it really does carry off this sense of rejuvenation, relief, praise. and then the whole S and T which is so glorious and filled with emotions especially since the sun is a symbol of life! and this leads on to this whole LONG fanfare to celebrate how the sun has won!

and after realising it from mr suharto (?), i suddenly feel that urge to convey this message, this whole painting to our audiences. the medal doesn't affect me that much anymore. i just hope we are able to illustrate this lovely picture and touch the audiences.

threw a bit of frisbee (what else really -.-)
then it rained oh man EPIC FAIL I HAHHAHA.
so yea rain then we went to parkway there.
cause no where else around the east la.
then errr played pool.
which was EPIC FAIL II.
me and daryl teamed up.
and then we played against lincoln and sampan.
then obviously we lost la
cause sampan's mountain valley mountain
too strong for us liao.

so okay replaced sampan with cynthia.
who totally doesn't know how to play.
yea but lincoln dunno how also la.
the ball like him la.
and coincidentally me and daryl
that match damn on form la.
i hit 2 balls in with one shot.
just the wrong balls only la.
and daryl somehow managed to hit
the black ball in halfway through the game.
so essentially, we won the game for them.
so okay suck thumb.

replaced lincoln with siew ying.
who also totally doesn't know how to play.
okay la we were desperate k.
so its me and daryl
against siew ying and cynthia.
too newbies whom we just taught
how to play like 3 mins before the game.
and honestly.
we were getting thrashed totally.
mainly cause we keep hitting in the wrong balls la.
dunno what happen la pakjiao until like that.
so okayyy but lucky for ustime ran out SO ITS A DRAW.
hahah and they say pool's a guy's game.
