all time favourite. <3 who would have forgetten melodies and lyrics as simple as this still matter. somehow i got addicted to it again, after shaun reminded me about tokio hotel (just when i was getting off the addiction). somehow, the power, overwhelming emotions and beautiful guitar riffs (omg LOVE!!!!!!) displayed in the music just feel so energising and refreshing. :D meanwhile, im still waiting for my "monsoon" to be over. when everything will allegedly be fine. dann wird alles gut. it hurts when you have too many passions and you have to give up some. what happened to wir sterben niemals aus? --- today we kinds had arts fest rehearsal. qiaoen was playing bass clarinet next to me. and what he said to me totally echoed my thoughts. "feels like SYF all over again, y/n? just that this time, we're playing it at home." tmr's arts fest, it's probably our last time playing hymm to the sun as a band. it the last time we J1s will get to play on stage with our seniors, probably the last time we're ever going to play hymm as a whole band. arts fest probably doesnt mean a thing to us, but im reminded once again it's our last time taking the stage with our seniors, playing our SYF piece as one band with our seniors. and it's probably the last time our seniors will ever get to perform. so tmr, we'll take the stage once again, playing hymm to the sun as a band, reminiscing our SYF days, playing and singing our hearts out just to praise the sun. one last time. --- went for training after arts fest rehearsal, which was quite fun, even though i was a total catastrophe. >< (omg sorry portia and jiawen! D: i still feel guilty) caused accidents everywhere urgh. D: match was okay. felt great to be running in the field again, after everything. just ran flat out. throw everything else to the winds. hahah. which erm then ultimately resulted in my accident with jiawen ._. omg im so sorry. i remembered liangsai asking what i would do if i found out that i couldnt handle 2 ccas, what if things get out of control. i just said i'll hang on, until i really find that i cannot hold on any longer. liangsai: -nods- "mm jiayou. either way, there will be sacrifices, you'll definitely have to make some sacrifices, but still, jiayou. :D" i never thought that sacrifices included the friendships i treasure. sacrifices. things we do everyday, in every little choice we make. for every decision or choice we make, we make a sacrifice, big or small. and our choices are probably made by weighing our "oppoturinity costs" as put forth in economic terms. seeing if our marginal benefits outweighs our marginal costs. but how we measure our benefits is subjective to each and everyone of us. it's hard to measure, since it's often intangible. so whatever choices we make might not be the best choice, it's only what we think is the best choice, the one we feel is most beneficial to us. which might not be the right one after all. other times, we simply dont have the choice. we might put something as our priority, but things just dont go our way, or our priorities were apparently put wrongly, hence we have to sacrifice doing what we really would like to do. sacrifices. what are they? which means i have to sacrifice my next 2 days of frisbee for band cause of arts fest. that one, i have no choice do i? ---- today was quite fun. p.e. was table tennis, which i found no joy in, besides sweating alot. chem lecture was quite hilarious, sitting with shengjie, jiajie and oli, then crashed econs with xinyu, nelson, portia and shaun again. :D loves. had break, which marcus came to find and bully me again ._. then went of for bio tutorial which was very fruitful, though know i fear failing my bio class test this friday. (GUO ERJIAAAA MY DEAR BIO PARTNER I NEED HELP ><) apparently david came by our class during bio tutorial and i dont know what he was doing outside the classroom, but he made some weird facial expression at the window, which our class happen to catch, and then i heard my name mentioned. so there are rumours floating around in my class. ._. very subtle huh. went to flick after school again, and hahah we were all trying to make leaves fly! :D cause the grass patch near our wing next to the canteen had lots of fallen leaves, it almost depicted autumn! :D haha how lovely, we tried air bouncing, which had a very nice effect on the fallen leaves, making everything fly! :D and then the whole gang will act like a bunch of little kids who had no childhood and have never seen autumn (which was quite true) but hahahha it was damn fun! :D wheeeee cause the effect was amazing and breathetaking LOL. but hahah i cant imagine how childish we looked! -thinks back about ian and shengjie piling up dried fallen leaves on their hands to THROW at each other, and shengjie and i trying to bury each other under the huge pile of fallen leaves LOL. :D - after that, shengjie and ian announced that they were going ntuc to get ice cream, and went off together. then we pretty much flicked around more, until they came back like half an hour to an hour later, announcing that they have ice cream to share. but no they've finished the ice cream all by themselves! D: they filled the ice cream tub with water, and came back to scam us roarrr! okay fine. actually it was only me who was scammed. ._. but hey! i never thought ian and shengjie would be so evil! D: and SHENGJIE of all people! D: omg so disappointed in you! D: hahahha. nah i had fun. you guys owe me ice cream now. i'll remember muahaha. friday left me more confused than ever before. i realised im torn between not 2, but 3 worlds. involved in all of them, but not part of any. at the end of the day. who am i? i realised i lost you. im nothing to you. maybe she's right. i should just get on with life. ---- anyway, i kinda screwed up friday's training. im like totally not focused at all. i hardly know what im doing anymore. urgh. i need to train more, be more focus and actually believe in myself.   just when i thought i was beginning to see the light, i lost it again. i feel so messed up now, nothing i do seems to go right. & today is such a sucky day. to my dear friend: im sorry for being such a lousy friend. D: i guess im losing your trust, cause you never tell me going on anymore. we've drifted. can it be saved? maybe i've been imposing on you, maybe i've been a burden to you. im sorry. D: your friendship means alot to me. you're the only person im dying to see now. D: i cant wait till tmr. i'll just die with all my unanswered questions. i've waited for the last 3 months. but at the same time i fear for tmr. this is stupid. i spent the whole week anticipating tmr, only to start dreading it today. urgh. great. i fear that it'll be a disappointment again. life is ironic. ----------------------- roarr i feel damn sucky now. there's so much more to say, but im too tired to think anymore. pw & its gpp is sucking up half of my life. this whole week's been strainous, but thankfully i had my friends around. :D thanks nelson and e-hui for tuesday night after training, for waiting for my bus with me, being there for me. :D & thanks jasmine for letting me rant to you today. :D loves! :D sorry peter for today!  sometimes it sucks when the people whom you trust the most are the people who seem so unreachable. it's not anyone's fault, life's just gotten so busy we can hardly meet up or catch up with each other. each one of us are so diverse, one's a councillor, one's in accendo and a choirister, one's a bgirl, one's a bowler and the last one's caught between 2 ccas. furthermore, not all of us are from the same school, which makes it even harder for us to meet up when we dont even see those in the same school at all. well, im glad i still meet up with peter and talk to him :D it's not that i dont love my teammates or my bandmates, i love my friends in school, but somehow, i just trust the people in zoo more. they're the ones whom i know who wouldnt judge me for my stupid actions and my AA-ness, whom i can totally let go and be my true self with, whom i know i can really count on and run to for help. they're the ones whom i know will never turn their back against me even when the whole world falls apart. i know this sounds cliche, but argh, this is really what i feel. there's no one else whom i can really count on and talk to besides the people in zoo. :D (besides the few people whom im close with outside zoo) ayee. i dont know why i started this. i came across sarah's blog, which reminded me of OG13, (which i sorely missss. D:) which reminded me of liuyi, which reminded me of zoo. >< oh wells. there's still dancenight to look forward to, where zoo can finally meet up after 4 months. (which is a heck of a looonnnnggggg time.) :D loves! & jiayou liuyi! :D ---- highlight of today was during our chem lecture, when shaun's class, portia's class, jiaming's class and my class were all in LT3, so shaun, portia and i wanted to have a frisbee class crashing (again). tried to ask shengjie and oli to crash with us but failed. but we did catch jiaming's eye, so jiaming, danette and jiajie came to join us. hahahaha. so the 6 of us settled down in the top right hand corner of the LT and portia took out her huge hello panda box of food. -cue for danette, jiaming and jiajie to stare, while shaun and i burst out into giggles- HAHAHA. then erm yea, we started picnic-ing. :D LOL. portia you're the best! :D the food you brought was awesomeeeee. <3 so next monday is set. econs lecture, frisbee people (e.g. portia, shaun, jiajie, oli, shengjie, jiaming, danette, matthew, nicholas) bring food arh! :D Labels: HCband, HCult, ramblings, zoo ich liebe Tom! 9:51 PM Monday, May 11, 2009
this weekend's been really hectic. thursday: SYF. i miss band now really. fortunately we still have morning assemblies together, which gives me the chance to see the people i love again. :D but thursday was really fun. after SYF at republic poly, the band bused back to school SALT center to put down our instrus and change. camwhored again. our batch tried to take batch photo but roarrrrrr inconsiderate J2s like liuzhen, yongjie and xiangjing came to crash LOL. hahahaha. so in the end we didnt have a decent batch photo. hmm. oh yaze's my angel hahaha. which i guessed beforehand already. kinda obvious but still it was a confirmation. :D EH i want to see my "section" photo! hahahaha i crashed tuba's section photo and in the end, jiachen, jiajie, lester and i spelt the word LOVE. :D hahahaha. rushed down to cathay after that. had lunch with tubas and xiangjing. :D haha. then we went up to ben& jerry's where leng and instructors treated us the whole band! :D hahaha in all, the whole band had 3 vermonsters (flutes, clarinets, and some random gang.) tubas, me, jiaying and edwin shared a cloud nine, saxes had smaller dishes. damn nice and heavenly. just pigged all the way hahaha. ate till we could eat no more. and lionel, luther and yaze were being very hilarious. just saw loads of photos on facebook on mr leng and flutes. and mr leng looks so wasted! hahahahah. and leng was trying to be gay with zongxian, in which zongxian reacted with a disgusted face LOL. oh yes. LIUZHEN KEEPS BULLYING ME ROARRRRR. he keeps spitting ice with a straw at me, which was pretty disgusting (which jia chen took really long to realise) cause he melts the ice in his mouth before it's small enough to go through the straw. YUCKS LAH. THANKS ARH. it's like ice + LIUZHEN'S DISGUSTING CONTAGIOUS SALIVA WTS. roaaaarrrr. after finishing up all our icecream (the vermonsters looked damn disgusting and yaze and zongxian were like drinking up all the melting icecream + saliva with a straw yuckkk.) luther & yiyi (was it?) suggested going to LAN and i happily agreed HAHA. in the end, almost all of us there (meaning 20+ people) went to lan together LOL. and liuzhen made me sit beside him so that he could teach me CS, and i could teach him L4D. all of us started playing CS but i kept dying cause i was so noob, so i gave up and persuaded liuzhen to play L4D with me instead hahaha. but 2 person playing L4D wasnt really fun. even though i managed to get him hooked onto it after that. we were winning when our session was over and liuzhen and i were all "ayees" and "awwws" and both of us were tempted to play l4d for another hour, but only junjie wanted to lan with us and we couldnt get enough people to lan so we gave up. sat around outside cathay with val, germaine, liuzhen, luther, liangsai, yongjie, junjie, jiajie, hongguang and mark (that's all right? :/) played alot of hilarious games and liangsai contributed alot of racist and hilarious jokes hahaha. the highlight of the day was the tuki tuki game where jiajie got so high and all of us were laughing like a bunch of idiots and when it got to luther, he was so confused he exploded HAHAHA. then the chop chilli game also, where yongjie and jiajie came up the most hilarious actions ever, and jiajie's ultraman and superman actions owned like siao hahahhaha. talked for like 2 hours until the night ERP went off, then went to ps to have dinner with them and then went home. slogged through the whole friday cause i was so tired from the day before and syf. ACS(i) frisbee championships on saturday. was a really fun day full of spectacular layouts, wonderful Ds, far hucks and skies, even though our team didnt do so well. Shengjie's our MVP! :D HAHAHA. he helped us scored a goal by skying the other team lol. :D let pictures do the talking.  marcus!  huanzi, nelson and lincoln skying. :D i think nelson Dd the disc.  lincoln and huanzi skying again, with huanzi getting the disc lol. yangxuann skying!
who said frisbee was a gay sport? while they played for semifinals and ACJC and ACS (IB) fought for the 1st and 2nd placing, the rest of us J1s were flicking at the side for fun. hahaha loads of hilarious stuff happened, including huan zi rating yuhui 6star danger cause he flicked a disc which hit me in the back, and then flick a disc which hit xinyu in the eye ouch.  yuhui, kaleb, me and nelson flicking by the side. i think nelson just flicked while i was trying to block him to no avail. hahaha.towards the end it was rather saddening to realise that jasmine's disc went missing, and matthew bag got stolen. the situation was so bad that the police were called in, as RJ lost 2 bags, we lost matthew's bag, and 7 discs went missing. D: poor matthew had to go home with nothing. >< went to eat dinner with team then went home. anyway, it was a fun-filled day with loads of new experiences, and lessons learnt. most important of all, i spent it with all the people i loved. :D hahah. LOVES HCULT. <3 sunday went to school at 8 for pw meet up. hahaha. had a couple of weird incidents, including kristie failing to crash into school and hence the guard ascorting jingxi, junning and i out of school. managed to escape to poolside to work but got chased out in the end cause they didnt want us to use their cables. >< so we migrated to macs but there were no cables available, so they went to jingxi's house to work instead, while i left for summer league. met jingyi on the train and went to sengkang together. was so dead tired that both of us fell asleep on the train together hahaha. reached sengkang fields and did abit of warmups. :D then started our match against lagi shiok. got thrashed 15-0, but it was still a good experience. saw how they used zonal defence, in which lincoln, sijie, jack, kangwee, melvin and oli had to swing like mad. nice swinging though, and yiding was named the king of poppers cause he just kept crashing through their cup defence lol. :D after that, we J1s had a game against the J3s, namely daryl, huanzi, kangwee, jack, tess and i on the J3 team hahaha. ended with daryl scoring i think (i forgot) then went to the side to flick around more since we ended our match so early. played monkey with jack, jiawei and huanzi as monkeys then switched around hahaha. :D after that we got hungry and then melvin, oli, jas, yongquan, jiajie and i went to compassvale to have lunch/dinner. melvin's damn hilarious hahaha. he just puts normal stuff in the most hilarious ways ever, so you end up laughing at nothing. e.g. "acs(i) farhucks cannot do far hucks. only their awesomes can do far hucks."LOL. hilariousss. went home with oli afterthat. talked and thought about alot of stuffs. i think i think too much roarr. & im sick and sunburnt. ich liebe Tom! 9:52 PM Saturday, May 9, 2009

what more could we have done, then touch the hearts of our audience? weiqi reminded me the fact that the J2s are going to leave soon. our final SYF together, and the last SYF we'll play in for most of us. how much impact it has made on us, how much we have worked hard for it. it really paid off. i love hcband. i love the people, and it's them who always make me press on even when im down. i dont want the J2s to go. i was just started to know them better. D: saddened. ACS(i) championships at ACS(I) today was kinda tiring. >< got thrashed all the way. i guess we were kinda demoralised but we still tried to fight. :D not bad. hahaha. saw some imba moves but the other jcs today, AC ultimate's really pro, and RJ's not bad. ngee ann put up a good fight with AC. pro people. oh and some really spectacular layouts today! :D especially but AC people who wore skins. there's summer league tmr, im already dead. >< still have to chiong pw by tonight (= no sleep tonight) and there's pw meeting tmr in the morning before summer league. ayeee. okay JIAYOU ME. & thanks xinyu for being there. :D ich liebe Tom! 11:48 PM Friday, May 8, 2009
[hcband <3 siew] im so glad im part of this. it was love i certainly felt yesterday. actually it didnt really feel like SYF, but more of a concert, with all the camwhoring, zihighing etc, except for the results announcement part, where all of us were super nervous. HCBAND got GOLD. :D & we're proud of that. cause more than that, we've played as a band, sang as a band, and went through the last 3 months together, working hard towards a common goal, sharing the same passion and love for music. some things are just indescribable. i guess more importantly were the friendships i made and treasured, the people around me who are always there for me (almost 24/7 in fact) and the music and passions we've persued. :D afterall, we play music to save the world. details about yesterday's crazy outing in another post hahahaha. :D we had so much fun yesterday, im already missing band people. D: tmr's ACS(I) frisbee comps. so. tmr's the day. in less than 16 hour's time, we'll be playing on that very stage for 20 minutes, painting the picture of hymm to the sun that we've been painting for the last 4 months. we'll go up there and play our very best, sing our hearts out, and leave the stage with no regrets. sometimes, it's the people who seem strong on the outside, crumbling inside. the weekend's been crazily busy and tiring, but otherwise filled with fun, laughter and love. :D had bio lecture in the morning on saturday, then chionged for band prac after that, which was quite fruitful i guess haha. we started to sound better. oh leng bought a new bow for me. which cost 400 bucks. but the tone was freaking nice (cause there were more hair) and the bows really light. i was so happy with it i started to get high over it and was totally zihighing in front of jiachen. which was a stupid thing to do, cause i broke the bow after 3 hours i got it. ._. totally stunned diao cause i didnt know what to do, cause it was the first time i broke a bow (after 3 hours of using it somemore. ) and i totally couldnt believe what happened. literally wanted to dig a hole when daniel saw what happened and exclaimed "WHAT YOU BROKE THE 400 BUCKS BOW?!". omggg -stabs self- then i didnt dare to tell leng what happened. i mean, it a 400 bucks bow that i broke, not some cheapo bow. >< but when leng heard he was totally like "huh the bow broke?! oh okay. get another one lorh." ._. omg lah. met up with teammates at coro after that, eat besaide golden rooster and was chased away by thrice. >< then after the super long lunch hahaha, oli, nelson, shaun, e-hui and i went off to beauty world/bukit timah plaza. haha. shaun, oli and i went to lan while nelson and e-hui played pool haha. played L4D, which was quite fun, especially when you're playing with teammates and you're playing beside shaun, who's damn loud, which just adds on the fun and laughter. jiajie, jiaming and their classmate joined us after that, and we started playing 3 on 3. yay thanks to shaun and oli that i learned how to play properly and long enough HAHA. cause they're always covering me cause im damn blurrr. hahaha. then went off with nelson and ehui to queensway to get our boots. walked around for an hours and a half before finally getting our boots haha. nelson and i chose the same adidas model, but he wanted the red and black one, while i wanted the gold and white one. but THE GOLD AND WHITE ONE I WANTED DIDNT HAVE MY SIZE ANYMORE T.T so nelson persuaded into getting the same colour as his. so now both of us have the same boots hahah. and 35 bucks was a steal for adidas, how could we miss it. :D so now we go "EH NELSONN. YOUR BOOTS DAMN NICE." hahah. sunday morning had band prac at republic poly. bus rides with bandees were kinda hilarious hahahah. oh thanks kexin for letting me kope your food, cause i had no lunch or breakfast. >< thanks! :D anyway, prac at republic poly was kinda weird, cause i couldnt hear the tubas at all, and trombones sounded really loud. then everything was muffled and echo-y, it was hard to follow. D: but leng says we sound okay, so. :/ oh but i think our singing was not bad HAHA. went back to school to put bass down, then chionged off to sengkang for summer league. when i reached, the score was still 6-6, EAT DISC v.s. ZERO DISPLACEMENT from singapore poly haha. then after that, ZD caught up with us, and the final score was 6-10. it was a good game though, considering the fact that we were still leading at half time, and we fought hard against SP, who were much more exprienced than us i guess. at least they had fun, they played hard, fought well, no regrets. everyone was all smiles after that and they just sat down and ate bananas hahaha. peter came soon after, then kexin, yongquan, peter and i started flicking at the side field. then we went off with the team to compass point, where the team went to the toilet to change. took peter and i eons to decide where to go mug cause we were unfamiliar with the place >< before we decided to go grab some food first then head off to the library. felt good to be mugging with peter again. haha. stupid guy still niaos me, even though it's not as frequent anymore, but the laughter and joy remains. quite productive i must say, almost completing my bio tutorial. we were contemplating whether to get the food from the cafe galileo in the library, but it was so ex we didnt dare to. until i said i was hungry and peter treated me to their wedges, which were damn nice. omg thanks peter! :D yesterday was fun. felt damn screwed in the morning cause all the projects were due this week and i wasnt ready cause my whole weekend was burnt, but then econs lecture was fun! i went to crash nelson and xinyu's class for econs, then shaun and matthew saw me crashing and came to join us. so xinyu, nelson, me, shaun and matthew ended up sitting in a row. like frisbee people! :D LOVE. then we were like having picnic in the lcture lah hahah soooo funnnn! :D after school, headed down to the track with bihyee, christabel, kelly, john, junde, ben and elffred for heats. which was quite a sucess cause the girls came in 3rd for 4x 100, the guys came in 4th for 4x100 and our class came in 1st for 8x200! :D WOOOOO our class is zai. jiu shi zhe yang JIGOULI. :D rushed for audi prac after that, it was freeezing cold and i was in my fbts, so i was like jumping up and down and the whole band just keep laughing at me ._. today was sleepy. heh. saw shaun and matthew crash nelson's class for bio again. then shaun, david and i just sat together for PW. the both of them just took turns to doze off, which was pretty hilarious. went off to meet up with band people after that. ate in fishtank before attempting to carry my bass back to SALT center, but to no avail. so i called edwin to help me after that and the nice guy helped me carry the bass all the way back to salt. :D THANKS! :D band prac was okay i guess. i dont know why i still feel insecure. maybe it's just me. >< im still looking for the overwhelming feeling, waiting and waiting and waiting for it. and each time, i just dont get it. i dont get the heartwrenching feeling from playing hymm, the feeling that makes everyone cries. rushed down to the field after band prac for training, it feels good to be running in boots (wait. i bet that's just psychological. ><) haha. training was fun! even though i didnt really get the disc during the matches at all. >< just felt good to be running again. there's like 2 hours of lessons/lectures tmr i think. cause of BMTC. then im just going to flick and then CHIONG for band. 2 more days (now 1 more.) hats today. no comments about the games but the people there were really zai3. such an eye opener. oh then there was this coach wearing this "muddy grass" t shirt and he came up to me and tried to teach me my backhand LOL. omg i must have looked damn noob to him, but my backhand improved alot thereafter. after hats went to eat at sengkang mall with nelson, melvin, oli and yongquan. it was damn hilarious listening to the guys talking about their high school days all the guailan people hahhahaa. pigged out alot, people like nelson and i eat fish soup with rice/noodle, then bought desserts, then he went down to macs to get ice cream (while i ate somemore at my grandma's house) and now i still feel hungry. omg my appetite is going crazy. sent melvin off on the buss before nelson walked yongquan, oli and i to the mrt station before he walked home. stupid nelson only lived like a 5 minutes walk away from the sengkang field while poor people like oli and i had to waste an hour on the train before getting home. train ride with oli was quite fun. thanks oli for taking the train with me and keeping me company :D crapped and learnt alot of stuff about dance and breaking from him haha im very glad that i have teammates like shengjie, jiajie, oli and nelson in the fusion hip hop sabbat with me wheeeee! :D busy weekend ahead. there's bio lecture tmr followed by band prac, and hopefully i can meet up with nelson tmr to get boots or go out to mug/lan hahhaha. summer league starts officially this sunday and im so not prepared for it. D: this sunday i've got SYF prac in the morning, then i'll have to rush over to sengkang to watch summer league, meet up with peter and then go off to mug with him :D & hopefully david & jerry can join us later. & i've been thinking. lots. im so glad im going to meet peter this weekend. finally. i dont know when's the next time i'll get to see him again. i miss him loads. today was full of amusing surprises, complete blurness and accidentals. >< highlight of the day was band prac, where we seem to sound so much better. our balance, tone and intonation is finally there! :D yayyyy. jiayou jiayou jiayou. our wonderful MWOs got us pizza after prac and haha we were having fun eating outside band room lah. then irene stole tianhui's shoe and tianhui began looking for it LOL. and then they were chasing each other/playing hide and seek on the level LOL it was so hilarious zongxian and i were literally rolling on the floor and dying of laughter. tianhui's so hilarious lahhhhh omggg. lionel scammed her and said that irene put her shoe into one of the rooms, which she didnt find her shoe in in the end. then guanteng switched her shoe with irene for tianhui's shoe HAHA so tianhui ended up chasing the wrong person instead. LOLLL hilariousss. i should do that to frisbee one day. haha. looking back, it has always been the seemingly insignificant little things that brighten up my day. ich liebe Tom! 12:30 AM |
