i remembered liangsai asking what i would do if i found out that i couldnt handle 2 ccas, what if things get out of control. i just said i'll hang on, until i really find that i cannot hold on any longer. liangsai: -nods- "mm jiayou. either way, there will be sacrifices, you'll definitely have to make some sacrifices, but still, jiayou. :D" i never thought that sacrifices included the friendships i treasure. sacrifices. things we do everyday, in every little choice we make. for every decision or choice we make, we make a sacrifice, big or small. and our choices are probably made by weighing our "oppoturinity costs" as put forth in economic terms. seeing if our marginal benefits outweighs our marginal costs. but how we measure our benefits is subjective to each and everyone of us. it's hard to measure, since it's often intangible. so whatever choices we make might not be the best choice, it's only what we think is the best choice, the one we feel is most beneficial to us. which might not be the right one after all. other times, we simply dont have the choice. we might put something as our priority, but things just dont go our way, or our priorities were apparently put wrongly, hence we have to sacrifice doing what we really would like to do. sacrifices. what are they? which means i have to sacrifice my next 2 days of frisbee for band cause of arts fest. that one, i have no choice do i? ---- today was quite fun. p.e. was table tennis, which i found no joy in, besides sweating alot. chem lecture was quite hilarious, sitting with shengjie, jiajie and oli, then crashed econs with xinyu, nelson, portia and shaun again. :D loves. had break, which marcus came to find and bully me again ._. then went of for bio tutorial which was very fruitful, though know i fear failing my bio class test this friday. (GUO ERJIAAAA MY DEAR BIO PARTNER I NEED HELP ><) apparently david came by our class during bio tutorial and i dont know what he was doing outside the classroom, but he made some weird facial expression at the window, which our class happen to catch, and then i heard my name mentioned. so there are rumours floating around in my class. ._. very subtle huh. went to flick after school again, and hahah we were all trying to make leaves fly! :D cause the grass patch near our wing next to the canteen had lots of fallen leaves, it almost depicted autumn! :D haha how lovely, we tried air bouncing, which had a very nice effect on the fallen leaves, making everything fly! :D and then the whole gang will act like a bunch of little kids who had no childhood and have never seen autumn (which was quite true) but hahahha it was damn fun! :D wheeeee cause the effect was amazing and breathetaking LOL. but hahah i cant imagine how childish we looked! -thinks back about ian and shengjie piling up dried fallen leaves on their hands to THROW at each other, and shengjie and i trying to bury each other under the huge pile of fallen leaves LOL. :D - after that, shengjie and ian announced that they were going ntuc to get ice cream, and went off together. then we pretty much flicked around more, until they came back like half an hour to an hour later, announcing that they have ice cream to share. but no they've finished the ice cream all by themselves! D: they filled the ice cream tub with water, and came back to scam us roarrr! okay fine. actually it was only me who was scammed. ._. but hey! i never thought ian and shengjie would be so evil! D: and SHENGJIE of all people! D: omg so disappointed in you! D: hahahha. nah i had fun. you guys owe me ice cream now. i'll remember muahaha.
