Someone once told me that love was beautiful; it would be everything every man or woman dreamed of, their hope and optimism for the future. They weren’t wrong. Love is indeed fantastic and beyond all imagination.
The moment you hold their hand, first hug, first kiss, that intoxicating feeling of falling in love all over, being head over heels for that person, and letting it overcome you, tiring you out, yet at the same time, filling you with the strength to carry on. No doubt, love is the very foundation of any relationship, and friendship, marriage. It is also the very foundation of who God is.


Yet on the flipside, love is also the only thing that can rend a person apart.
It can reduce the toughest, the hardest of life’s men to tears. It can cause a person to lose his sanity, abandoning his very being, undoing the very fabric of the person. Indeed, who am I to question this unfathomable, powerful force that even God uses it?


No doubt most of us have felt these 2 opposing sides of love. For those who haven’t felt the harsh pain it can bring, i hope you’ll never experience it. For those who have never felt the truly magical side, i hope you’ll find your significant other.

I’ve never felt so conflicted.
